Six shelters are closed the month of January and four the month of February. CHECK IN - Any time after 12 Noon for Tent/RV sites. Any time after 3:00PM for Shelters and Group sites. After hours campers can go right to their reserved site and checkin the next morning, at the park office. PARK OFFICE ADDRESS: 4265 Atlantic Avenue, Wall Township. CHECK OUT - 12 Noon for all sites. DUMP STATION is closed from mid Oct to mid April. FACILITY HOURS - Park office is open during the hours 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Park office is located one mile east of campground on Rt. 524. If arriving after hours please proceed to your reserved site. AGE REGULATIONS - Campsites must be registered and occupied by a responsible person 18 years of age or older. OCCUPANCY - Limited to 6 individuals per campsite unless a group site. Only 2 vehicles permitted on any campsite. There is an additional $5 fee for extra vehicles to park in designated area. 7:2-6.4: A person or persons who have occupied a camping facility for an initial 14 night limit shall not re-register until seven calendar nights have elapsed. A group, family, or person shall not occupy any State Park Service camping facility for more than 40 nights in a calendar year. VISITORS - Visitors are permitted from 8AM to 8PM. QUIET HOURS - From 10PM until 6AM, and are strictly enforced. Violators of this policy may be evicted. Refunds will not be issued to evicted campers. CANCELLATIONS- There is a non-refundable $5.00 transaction fee. The cancellation fee for campsites is $40/ NJ Resident/ $50 Non- NJ Resident or two night use fee (Whichever is less) will be deducted from any refund due. The cancellation policy for shelters is if you cancel 7 days or less prior to your check in date, one night use fee in addition to the $5.00 transaction fee will be deducted from any refund due. If you cancel 8 days or more prior to your check in date, only the $5.00 transaction fee will be deducted. ANIMAL ALERTS - Pet friendly sites are limited to sites #1-8 and #13-22 ONLY. Limited to 2 pets. There is an addtional $5 fee per night. Proof of rabies vaccination certificate is required at the time of check in or uploaded when reservation is made. RESTRICTIONS - Alcohol is prohibited. No additional tents or equipment can be set up on a shelter site. GENERATORS - May be used except during quiet hours. If the use of a generator is deemed unreasonably loud by the facility staff then individual use of a generator may be prohibited/limited. GROUP CAMPSITES - NO SHOWER FACILITIES AVAILABLE. The group sites do not have flush toilets or showers and the use of the family campground facilities is prohibited. FIRES - All fires need to comply with the NJ Forest Fire regulations and are to be built in the fire rings provided at each site. Only dead and downed wood may be used for fuel. No chainsaws are allowed in campgrounds, and cutting down trees, alive or dead is prohibited. Firewood can be purchased at the park office. Firewood- Can be purchased at the park office. Pre-purchased online firewood bags MUST be picked up at our office. Afterhours firewood will be placed outside of our park office. Family camping facilities are located in the northwestern portion of the park, approximately one mile west of Park Office. There are 45 campsites and 10 shelters, each site containing a picnic table and a fire ring. Each shelter site,also has a barbecue grill. Modern sanitary facilities, showers and drinking water are within walking distance of all sites. There are no water, electric or sewer connections for recreational vehicles. Group sites are located in the southern portion of the park. There are 4 sites that can accommodate a group of up to 50 people and 2 sites that can accommodate a group of up to 25 people. Group sites have portable toilets, a water pump, picnic tables, barbecue grills, lantern hooks and fire rings. The group sites do not have flush toilets or showers and the use of family camp ground facilities is prohibited. Minimum 7 people for group sites. Advance reservations recommended.
