Contact UsWhy can't I sign up, add or renew a watch?
This service is being phased out, and replaced by a free mobile app. For that reason, links to sign-up for a new CorpWatch account as well as to add or renew watch(s) with an existing account are no longer available. If you have an account with an active watch, you will continue getting notifications until that watch expires. We encourage you to sign-up for CorpWatch Alerts with a Gov2Go account.
How do I tell CorpWatch which email addresses to use to send notifications?
When you set up a watch, you must add at least one email address or provide a cell phone number that will receive notifications. You can add more emails if you wish to have multiple users view notifications.
How am I notified when a business filing change affects a company on my watch list?
You will receive a notification email, text, or you can sign on to CorpWatch and view your change online. To view online, sign on to your CorpWatch account. You will see a page displaying your watched companies. If notifications are present, you will be able to view them from there.
I signed up for the CorpWatch service, but why am I not getting emails and/or text messages?
To do this, click on the email icon and verify if the email address and/or cell phone number is correct. Also, check if the CorpWatch email is being sent to a spam folder or if your company's security settings are preventing the email from being seen.
Can I remove a watch once I have signed up for it?
Once you sign up for a watch, it will appear for 12-months. At the end of that period, it will drop off of your account.
I received a notification that a change has been filed on my business, but I didn't authorize the change. What do I do now?
You should contact the NJ Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services Corporate Records and Public Information at 609-292-9292 and notify them that the change was not authorized.
I filed a change to my business, but the change has not showed up yet in CorpWatch. What do I do now?
It could take up to 30 days to see your change reflected in your watch. If you haven't been notified of your change after 30 days, please contact the NJ Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services at 609-292-9292.
I made a change to my business and I'd like to order an official document of the change. How do I do that?
You will receive an email notification of the change. In that email will be a link to the Business Records Service, that will allow you to order a copy of the change you made to your business. You could also call in and request a document by calling the NJ Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services at 609-292-9292.
How do I add a user to my account?
As a CorpWatch account holder, you might want to add an additional user to help you manage the account. An account user has the same privileges as you have and can be easily added by clicking on the "Manage My Account" menu item. You can also add users to your watch to receive notifications on your business. You can do this by adding email addresses to your watch. You must have at least one email address attached to a business watch.
How do I deactivate/remove a user from my account?
By selecting Manage Account and Administer Account Users, you can set the permissions for one of your account users. By un-checking the Public User role on your user, they will not have access to your CorpWatch account.
I can't remember my CorpWatch password. What do I do now?
You will need to use the 'Forgot your password' link on the login page. Typically, the email with reset password is sent in around 30 minutes to an hour.
